How to convert RAW to JPG

Three steps.

1

Drop your RAW files in

Whatever your camera produced. Nearly every brand and model of the last fifteen years is covered.

2

JPG is already the default

RAW files are developed automatically and come out as standard JPGs.

3

Hit Squish

Finished JPGs appear under new names next to your originals. The RAWs stay untouched.

What RAW actually is

A RAW file is the unprocessed readout of your camera’s sensor: all the light it captured, none of the decisions made. Cameras always shoot RAW internally; when you save JPG you’re keeping the camera’s interpretation. RAW gives you the negative, at the cost of needing software to develop it.

Image Squisher does that developing automatically and conservatively: clean exposure, honest color, no style presets smeared on top. If you’re a Lightroom power user, keep being one. If you just want usable photos out of a folder of RAWs, this is one drag.

Good to know

  • About a thousand camera models across every major brand.
  • Development is automatic and neutral, no presets.
  • Originals untouched; JPGs written under new names.
